Romans 12:2 (NASB)
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
In most cases, in order to change anything you have to change your mind first. Sometimes miracles happen and it had absolutely nothing to do with the human mind, but I believe most of the time people make choices whether they realize it or not. Attitude, finances, relationships, spiritual life, health, you name it. The mind affects our entire being and our lives; it even affects the world around us. This is why we need to make sure that its healthy.
Everyone has thoughts that they’d never say out loud. Those are the thoughts that you don’t ignore. You need to be aware of what is going on and combat those thoughts with truth, positive and productive solutions, and love. Unhealthy thoughts left unchecked will morph into sickness in your mind just like a disease in the body left to its own devices. Your mind is unseen. No one knows what is really going on in there beside you and GOD. God gave you your mind for you to use and take care of it. It is your responsibility. If you learn to love yourself and to love others, then you will be able to apply that love to your thoughts. If your thoughts are filtered through self-love and brotherly love (even for the ones who make it hard) you will see everything around you change. Pay attention to your mind. Get quiet enough OFTEN to hear yourself think. Don’t be so busy or over-stimulated that you can’t tell the difference between your thoughts and someone else’s. Renewing your mind is something you do on purpose and it must be consistent. The Bible, The Living Word of God, is the best tool for truly transforming your mind. All truth originates from GOD, so why not go to the source?
I will share all the knowledge and wisdom that I can to help in the renewing of your mind.
